The error in the above image “C:User… is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file” occurs when there is a space “ “ in your file directory e.g. “C:UserVirtual TKD…”.

  • To resolve this issue, rename your folder name and ensure that there are no spaces in the name. E.g. “C:UserVirtualTKD…” or “C:UserVirtual-TKD…”.

“I am unable to locate the game file on my VR headset”.

  • Access and launch the game via the main menu by clicking Library → Unknown → IKIX

“I am unable to find the game room created by the GM”.

Solution 1

1) Check that you are connected to the same WiFi network as the PC that is running the GM Client.

2) Once connected to the same WiFi network, restart the game on your headset.

Solution 2

1) If you are connected to the same WiFi network and are still unable to load the game, reboot the headset.

Solution 3

1) If you are using a LAN connection, check that the LAN cable is connected to the correct LAN port on your router

“I am unable to detect my AXIS nodes (lower body movements) in the game”.

1) Check that your AXIS nodes are switched on and the dongle is connected to the headset.

2) Close the game.

3) If nodes are switched off, disconnect, and connect the dongle before switching on the nodes.

4) If the nodes are switched on, disconnect, and reconnect the dongle.

“I am unable to perform calibration in the game”.

Solution 1

1) The Pico headset battery may be 20% and below (Axis dongle will not be powered by the Pico headset at 20%). Charge your Pico headset or change to another set if available.

Solution 2

1) Check that both controllers are switched on. If turned off, turn controllers on and retry calibration.

2) If calibration still does not work, check that your nodes are switched on and the dongle is connected to the headset.

3) Close the game.

4) If nodes are switched off, disconnect, and connect the dongle before switching on the nodes.

5) If the nodes are switched on, disconnect, and reconnect the dongle.

“I have calibrated but the movement of my legs does not match the movement of the avatars leg”.

1) Each player’s leg is shape and size are unique. The player may be required to slightly adjust the placement of the nodes to match the direction of the avatar’s movement in-game.

Solution

2) Adjust the nodes according to the direction of the error. E.g. player lifts their leg straight, but the in-game leg is off to the right, adjust the node towards the players right and recalibrate.

*The movement of the in-game avatar will never match the movement of the players physical leg 100%.

“I disconnected from the room mid-game”.

1) This is likely caused due to a headset disconnection.

  • The player may have exited the game and returned to the home screen on their Pico headset.
  • The player may have pressed the power button on the Pico headset and caused the headset to enter standby mode.

Solution

2) If the room is still running (i.e. on the GM PC and/or other players headset, the game is still running, the disconnected player may attempt to rejoin the room.

“My arm(s) is/are not moving, and they are out of place”.

Solution 1

1) The controller could have been turned off by accident. Turn the controller back on by pressing on the home button.

Solution 2

1) The controller batteries could be drained out. Change out the batteries for new ones.
