AXIS (Motion Tracker)

Control Center 

“I am unable to open AXIS control center”

  1. Remove and reconnect your dongle again before launching the control center application; and/or
  2. Make sure that the computer is connected to a WiFi network.

 

“I am unable to detect nodes in the node manager”

  1. Check that the AXIS dongle is connected to the PC, and that all nodes are turned on and in pairing mode.

 

“I see more nodes than needed in the node drawer”

  1. You may be detecting other nodes that are in pairing mode nearby. To avoid this, we recommend pairing one set of nodes at a time.

 


AXIS Nodes (Motion sensor) 

“I am unable to turn on my AXIS node”

a. Charging

  1. Your AXIS node may not be charged properly.
  2. Make sure that your AXIS charging dock is on a flat surface and your node is lighted red to indicate that it is charging.

 

“I am experiencing unnatural movement of my limbs in the game”

a. Low battery

  1. Your AXIS node battery level may be low. Switch to a new set of AXIS nodes or charge them before trying to play again.

 

b. Nodes paired to the wrong body placement

  1. Plug in your dongle to your PC.
  2. Open device manager on AXIS control center and click on the pairing mode button.
  3. Double click on the node in the control center or double press the button on the node to identify which node is paired together.
  4. Make sure that the paired node is at its designated part of your body.

 

c. Node interference

  1. If there are multiple AXIS sets in use in the same area, your AXIS nodes may be facing interference from other nodes.
  2. You may pair your nodes on different WiFi Channels to minimize interference.

3. To change the WiFI Channels for your AXIS Nodes, click on the WiFi icon located on the top right of the AXIS Control Centre.
